about

"Burn Your Scripts Boys" is the debut album from THE OUT_CIRCUIT, a long-running project from Nathan Burke, a lifelong musician known for his work in post-hardcore band FRODUS (particularly the band's masterpiece "And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea"). Upon the demise of Frodus and drummer Andy Gale's band Shoutbus, the two set forth on creating entirely new music drawing from a broader swatch of inspiration and influence. Also featured on the record are the talents of Kevin Lamiell (of MAJORITY RULE) and Chaz Barber.

Originally issued in 2004 on Lujo Records and Autoclave, Pax Aeternum is thrilled to be representing the album moving forward.

Former Frodus bassist returns wielding synths instead of guitars creating poetic post-punk ambient music with nods to dark/synthwave. The influences: visits to Tokyo, where there is adventure in any possible direction; the curious and confrontational nature of beauty; and the way wandering can remake a person ... more
